Capt. Richard Brown, Chief Executive Officer
I have 20 years of aviation experience and am passionate about establishing a sustainable and viable airline operation to the island of St Helena. I have been personally involved in the Air Access Project for over a decade and have put together a team of committed individuals to help build a bespoke operation.
I am dedicated to providing a world class on-board customer experience. I feel privileged to be part of an operation that could not only make history, but also provide the people of St Helena with a genuine opportunity to develop their island.
Capt. Andrew Radford, Director
I have been fortunate to be involved with Richard in the development and design of Atlantic Star Airlines from the outset. It has been interesting and demanding to construct a viable airline model that meets the specific challenges and needs of a St Helena-centric operation.
As the project has matured, my main areas of expertise have narrowed to focus on issues of regulation and safety compliance, as well as liaison with aircraft manufacturers to analyse aircraft performance capabilities and establish a path to operation of a suitable aircraft type.
Aiden Walsh, Director
I have been in the travel industry for over 18 years, where I have held a number of senior positions for tour operators and airlines including Qantas Holidays, Royal Brunei Airlines and currently as Country Manager UK for the all-business-class airline La Compagnie.
I have also worked on a number of unique projects including setting up a company supporting travel for military and NGOs in Afghanistan to developing tourism in diverse destinations including The South Pacific Islands, The Falkland Islands, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. As a result of my destination development work I was delighted to receive the accolade of Middle East Travel Manager of the Year from Arabian Travel News.
Like the rest of the Atlantic Star team I am passionate about working to develop a commercially sustainable airline that meets the needs of Saints and developing responsible tourism to beautiful Saint Helena.
