St Helena’s airport is no white elephant...

Some of you may have noticed an article by MP Andrew Mitchell relating to St Helena Airport in the press this week. We met with Mr.Mitchell the day before his article was published in the Daily Telegraph to discuss air services and were impressed by his enthusiasm for all things Saint!

Andrew is keen to look at UK originating services that would benefit both UK Saints and also the tourism industry which needs more visitors in order to thrive. We will look again at how this can be achieved and the level of financial support that would be needed to make a future flight programme viable. Once we know more we will share it with you.
